Introducing Planet X16

This is somewhat of a filler video as I didn't even plan to make this until a few days ago.  I just decided on a whim to make it as I thought I could do so in 3 or 4 days.  And apparently it took 4 days.  So here it is.  Thumbnail hasn't been done yet, though.

That being said, I'm going to have at least two more videos this month.  One will be on some other rare prototypes in Bo Zimmerman's collection.  The other will be on the Mega65.

I hope everyone got my joke with the PCBWay sponsorship.

Well, I got my brand new Spectrum Next in December. It’s the recent and improved Version of the Next. Are you interested in a port of Planet X16 to this machine? I’m asking because I’d offer my help to do so. I’m a Software Engineer and have the knowledge and curiosity to do this… Drop me a note if you’re interested in this Port! Best, Peter

Great Video! Thanks! Dave, do you have any plans to release the Source of Planet X 16 to the public. E. g. at GitHub? Maybe this will encourage other programmers to support you to port the game though… Best from Munich, Germany - Peter -

The video and page for Planet X16 on Steam is up. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2727770/Planet_X16 https://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=8-Bit%20Productions%2C%20LLC - This is all The 8-bit guy titles on Steam.

As someone who is taking video game development in college, I really appreciate these videos as they give a good idea to overcome complex problems efficiently. I've actually learned a bit of PICO-8, which has limitations akin to 8-bit computers but has the accessibility of modern and retro coding in BASIC using Lua-based coding.
