Geekbits Podcast #10 - Are they really evil?

Many of you have been asking when the next geekbits podcast would be out.  We recorded two of them last weekend.  Hint - we almost always record two when we get together.  You'll notice we are wearing the same clothes in pairs of episodes.  :-). Anyway, #10 is finished with the editing process and is finally available!  Enjoy!

I For those wanting to know what is coming up next.  I have 9 videos I'm working on at the moment.  Talking clocks will be finished in 2-3 days.   But here's the list in the order they will probably appear on the channel.
-Talking Clocks of the 1980s
-Running MacOS on your Amiga with A-Max
-New Mini Pet 4080D Review
-Petscii Robots Arcade Machine
-Super CGA Cards - Better than CGA but not quite EGA.
-Make color killer switch for Samsung TV (maybe svideo)
-Apple IIc Plus restoration
-Solar Power / Backup plan
-Sinclair C5 Restore and review

Geekbits Podcast #10 - Are they really evil?

Comments

Well, I've always said those Varta batteries contain liquid evil.

IS ANYTHING REALLY EVIL? Probably not, though I am quite sure ISDN cards for Windows 95 were. As well as some printer manufacturers.

Great! There's quite a history there (I've been reading old Finnish computer magazines from late Eighties and early Nineties and there's a lot of Amiga stuff there. My friends had them, I only got an A500 in 1997 or so, used. I think I've used the "small ones" from A500 via A600 to A1200, so the Amiga history is interesting to me!)

Mikko Parviainen

super excited about the arcade machine build

Absolutely. If you look at #2 on that list, it is part of the Amiga history series. But there will be more after that for sure.

Are you doing more Amiga history videos?

Mikko Parviainen

Great stuff. Particularly looking forward to the solar/backup setup.

I’m not anticipating any issues with the IIc plus. It actually works. But needs retro bright very badly and the floppy drive is broken. So I think I can handle it.

The 8-Bit Guy

I've wanted to see an Apple //c Plus for years. I'm going to be 40 soon, and my elementary school days were filled with classrooms that each had one or two of them. I've wanted to get my hands on one for ages but they're just outside my price range. I hope that video goes to plan and you get to publish it soon!

John Bailey

Sounds like some good content coming up. Thanks!

Billy Buerger

Yessss. Sinclair C5 is coming

End of Forever

Thanks for the update. Look forward to all of it
