GREYLOCK: Behind the Scenes

I’m always trying to go the extra mile with my analog horror series GREYLOCK. But I can’t stop laughing at this and just needed to share it.

Maybe I’ve gone insane. I don’t know.

But GREYLOCK is quickly becoming one of the most loved analog horror series in existence. So many comments saying “This is the best series” or “This is my favorite series now”…

As the director, executive producer, writer, casting director, co-editor, analog effects specialist, and so many more roles (but I sound pretentious enough as it is), it’s really cool to hear those things.

Thank you to all of you for helping to make this all happen. You’re wicked. Never forget it.

Rob

I'm late to the party responding to this, but I feel the need to further add to the chorus of celebratory voices. I'm thrilled to hear you're as happy with GREYLOCK as so many of its consumers are. You should feel those feelings! It's a masterpiece of macabre art utilising this exciting new medium of storytelling we Children of The 21st Century are blessed with. I could gush for days about the 1156 things I love about the series (and will, upon request), but its most striking aspects are the richness/complexity of the story, the incredible quality and attention to detail across all aspects (script, visuals, scares, mood building, world building and O! The VOICE ACTING!!!) and the insanely deft balancing act of revealing enough information to keep speculating without telegraphing the future. But I perhaps love most how it's a love letter to the form of analog horror, giving us many scenes familiar to the form (emergency broadcast, dash cam footage, uncanny faces (FUCKING uncanny faces), etc) but pushing into new territory with each via an ungodly quality and somehow flawlessly weaving it all into the tapestry of the story. So, thank you for unleashing your Thoughtform unto the world. Right, that was quite the gush. Sorry all. If you need me, I'll be attempting to attune to my shadow self whilst painstakingly scrubbing through the Tapes for the 11th time.

Hey Rob, sorry I was gone for a while, but now that you're back at it, I'm happy to be back! Seriously glad that Seriously Strange is on Spotify (pun unintended, unless you laughed, then it was 100% on purpose)

Are you sure it's a good idea letting us get a peek into your basement? 🤔
