I’m always trying to go the extra mile with my analog horror series GREYLOCK. But I can’t stop laughing at this and just needed to share it.

Maybe I’ve gone insane. I don’t know.

But GREYLOCK is quickly becoming one of the most loved analog horror series in existence. So many comments saying “This is the best series” or “This is my favorite series now”…

As the director, executive producer, writer, casting director, co-editor, analog effects specialist, and so many more roles (but I sound pretentious enough as it is), it’s really cool to hear those things.

More Progress on Horror Game

Things are coming along smoothly, and we’re making progress every single day on this. For hours nearly every day, we’re on calls discussing progress. Last night was getting Troublemaker into Unreal Engine, refining up some of the textures, and establishing a vision for the environment he will be running around in.

I’m so thrilled about this project and can’t wait to make an all new frightening experience. This is one of the earliest of many steps to come.

When texturing the baby’s eyes, we made it so the black/pupil of the eye would always be in a certain position. As Troublemaker hasn’t been programmed for movement yet, he was just placed in as a still model, so when we moved the camera in multiple directions, his eyes would follow us as if they were animated, even though it was just because of the lighting/perspective. Gave us a good jolt!

A Long-Awaited Update

Hello everyone,

First, let me begin by apologizing profusely for my extended absence. The last thing I want to do is start diving into reasons behind why I’ve been so distant, as there’s really no excuse for it while I’m still living and breathing. I so greatly appreciate everyone here who has stuck around—believing so much in supporting me. I don’t deserve it, but I will work towards deserving it.

As I’m sure some of you noticed, a number of my recent videos have had credits at the end, where I have placed every single one of your names (some of the videos were edited by different people who didn’t have access to the credits at that time, but they will). That’s a trend I will make into a part of every episode of SS. It’s the least I can do.

I wanted to let you know that I’m going to be changing up the reward tiers to something that I can currently manage. I haven’t been able to find an efficient fulfillment manager for shipping things out, so that will very likely be removed until I’m fully capable of handling it effectively.

That being said, I wanted to give you all an update. Aside from me being active on here and communicating with all of you again, I have some things that I want to share with all of you first and foremost. Some things I’ve been working on that I think you may really like.

Some of you may remember that I was working on developing a survival horror video game a few years ago, but due to personal issues in the dev’s life, he had to step away from the project, and it was essentially dead in the water. Well, recently, I realized that I just wasn’t happy doing only YouTube content. I’ve wanted to be involved in developing video games since I was a kid. I remember even joining an online course for game development when I was around 14.

I just haven’t been happy where I’m currently at. So, I spent a lot of time watching some of the best horror games I could find, and I reached out to one of the devs that really impressed me and asked if he’d like to team up. He was ecstatic to do so, and we’ve really hit it off, and we’re slowly expanding an actual team to make this happen. His name is Matt Reeves, and he’s so insanely talented it’s hard to believe.

So, the original survival horror game, with some large story modifications, is officially back in development. Some of you may remember my character “Troublemaker”, who was a nightmarish fusion between a spider and a baby (if not, you can scroll back for the concept animation of him).

Well, I’d like to show you all his newest version before anyone else gets to see. Nobody knows that I’ve got a game in development at all. I ask that you keep it hush hush just for right now, but if you reeeeaaaally can’t help yourself, that’s fine lol.

And I want you all to know that when this game is finished, every single one of you will be credited at the end for your involvement in a very special way.

So here’s Troublemaker 2.0 (he’s obviously unfinished and there’s still a big of texturing to do and whatnot—but once he’s rigged up and put in Unreal engine, I’ll show you what he’s like in action!)

Long-Awaited Update

Hello everyone,

First, let me thank you immensely to so many of you for showing me so much support over these past few years on Patreon here. It means the world. I wanted to let you all know that I have absolutely not forgotten about this platform and what needs to be done.

Patreon isn’t the simplest platform to work with. My overwhelmed mind has not treated my kindly. Neither of these things are excuses for my disappearances. They’ve simply been hinderances.

I’m running on about 48 hours of very little sleep. It seems every now and then I have ebbs and flows, where I’ll either want to barely move for months on end or I’ll stay up for days. Needless to say, what’s the point in life without a little insanity, right?

So, I am happy to report that rewards are going to be sent out in the coming weeks. We’ve got a lot to send out so it may take a little bit, but you will have it. The one caveat is that artwork will no longer be included with scripts. Considering I don’t use artists anymore currently (that may change, however), the artwork is at threat of becoming repetitious, and we don’t want that.

However, with scripts, merch will be sent out, as well. T-shirts. I just need to know what design you want and the size you want it in. I’ll let you know when it’s time for me to have that info.

***These will only apply to those in the tiers that get those rewards, not everyone, or else I’d go bankrupt in a second, I apologize***

So, another deep thank you and immense appreciation for all of you who have stuck by my unpredictable madness. I’m overwhelmingly sorry for all the confusion I’ve certainly caused, among many other emotions. I’ll be reformatting the Patreon and extending more, and different options. Plus, the first draft of my novel is complete. There will be a way for people here, supporting me, to get advanced copies, signed by me. This will be published copies but could also be finished, unpublished manuscripts, so you’ll read it first.

I ask that you just spare me a bit more patience, though I’m sure it’s worn thin, and many may believe I don’t deserve it, which I’m inclined to agree. But I will right the ship. One way or another, I will right the ship.

Opening Up to You All

Hi everyone,

First of all, I wanted you to know I've got a ton of scripts getting signed and they'll be shipped off very soon. A few months' worth of them. So some of you will be receiving a few all at once to make up for lost time. Mikel, my fulfillment manager, has been compiling data for everyone's free merch and Teespring will be sending that out shortly, as well.

I wanted to apologize for my silence lately. I want to be fully honest with you. You're helping to keep my productions going. Many people have fallen away from helping for numerous reasons, so we're still struggling but I'm sure we will make it.

I've always had depression for pretty much as long as I can remember. But it's never been really terrible or anything. Anxiety is a different case. I've had it all my life and it's been horrible at times, better at others, but at least always simmering beneath the surface. I've used humor to mask my depression and anxiety for many years.

But when all this shit went down with YouTube, my brain had a switch flipped. A switch that flung me into a much darker place. I felt like I had finally found a purpose in my life and a true passion, and I was stabbed in the back. I had that passion torn away from me. I'm not here to blame anyone. Shit happens. Some people are less kind than others. Whatever. It is what it is.

Anyway, I got to the darkest point I've ever been in my life. I was thinking about very foolish things and had basically allowed myself to destroy myself. I have become that stereotypical guy in the movies who loses something really important and becomes a hermit who just doesn't give a shit about anything anymore. The guy who doesn't shave and who only ever wears a bathrobe around and hates life and himself. Who isolates from his friends and finds absolutely nothing that can bring him joy anymore. Everything in my life was filtered by a grey haze that prevented me from finding the happiness in it. Video games made me feel sick. Reading made me uncomfortable. Making videos made me angry, frustrated, and hopeless. All the things I loved to do just brought me agony. I haven't even gotten a haircut in months.

It got to the point where I had to make an emergency appointment with a doctor one day. I felt like I was losing my mind. I was spiraling in the worst way I had ever spiraled. I actually made an appointment previously but when I called back they bumped it again for the next day thankfully.

To no surprise, I have been diagnosed with major depression and anxiety. I will be seeing a psychiatrist soon to further get my head on right. But I've decided to give medication a try. It took a couple weeks to really get into my system and start changing things. But it's made a world of a difference. I still have plenty of off times but my brain has been balanced out much better than weeks ago. I've actually wanted to make videos again. I've gotten enjoyment out of things.

I just lost my passion for a while. My identity and purpose took a direct hit and that hit was hard. I was happy being successful. Go figure, right? So to have it ripped away overnight the way it was hurt me considerably. But I'm getting my strength back. I'm getting my life back. And I thank you all for sticking with me. Thank you for helping me stay afloat. You're helping more than just me. You're helping the people who depend on me. And that means so much.

So again. I apologize for my absence and the fact that I haven't been working as hard. I know many of you will say it's okay and I don't have to apologize, but you have committed to helping me. Making YOU happy as a top priority. And I'm glad I'm getting back to that point again.

YouTube will very likely never be a place that's welcoming to me again. But I've got you all.

Part of the reason I'm telling this long-winded story, is because if you feel similarly to how I've felt for your own reasons (like depression and anxiety), I'd be one to vouch for seeing a doctor and trying medication, as long as you're open and communicative to your doctor throughout the process. One medication may not work as well as another could.

So yeah, you all mean a lot to me. So if you're feeling that you're spiraling, I'll use my experience to maybe help you. You are worthy of happiness. Do what you feel you must to find balance. You are loved. You make a difference. Trust me.

You Should Know

Hey everyone,

I'm up late, feeling kinda like crap. It may be allergies. I'm hoping that's it. I'm hoping I don't wake up really sick with like the flu. It helps that I'm on some sleep aids and allergy meds. That seems to be making this way easier. Why am I talking so much about this? Yet I'm still typing. I could stop. I could segue into the next part somehow. And yet I'm still rambling about hoping I'm not sick and feeling like shit but also feeling a bit better. Yes. Okay.

Anyway, it's been a pretty rocky few weeks. YouTube made their situation worse. So my situation is worse. And I've been reflecting on a lot. And I want you all to know how valuable you are to me. I don't take that for granted. I want to make you happy and proud to be a supporter every single day.

Just know I've been thinking a lot about the love and support you've shown me. It means more than you know. Trust me.

Also, I've had a novel in the works for some time now. I may add previews of it into the rewards. I will also send free signed copies of the books to people of certain reward tiers. That's a bit of a ways off but I wanted you to know.

Also also, the scripts from the first month that I had fired Patreon back up, have been shippped! So be sure to look out in the mail! And take pics of your stuff and send them to me. Tag me on Instagram or something. That's always the best way to get me to see something.

You all mean so much to me. Thank you. With you at my side, we are gonna do so many things. Together. And there's no one I'd rather do it all with. My production team is like 95% fans. New Rewards Unlocked

Almost $12,000. Like...shit man lol. I am beyond right now. Thank you all so much.

I wanted to let you know that I just updated the Level 1 Reward Tier with a couple of additional rewards. They include your name being put at the end of the series premiere of my show, as well as your photo included at the end of the horror video game once it's developed. Dependent upon how much you're giving will determine the way your name/photo is displayed, like size and whatnot. This obviously scales for every reward level so although it's only mentioned in Level 1, know it applies to everyone.
