OP Sister Chapter 520: Two-Shotting The Boss

-----

BOOOM!

The explosive breath attack from the turtle-like beast erupted from its maw, striking Anna and Jack in a mere split second. Everyone observing from above amid their battles with the Dynamite Beasts panicked, as they witnessed both siblings utterly engulfed in the explosive flames, potent enough to disintegrate most living beings effortlessly at such proximity.

“Anna!” Kevin cried. “I-Is she going to be okay?!”

“Don’t worry,” Henrietta smiled. “Those two siblings won’t go down so easily, trust me!”

And she wasn’t wrong, as both figures emerged amid the explosive sea of flames, each sibling wielding a shield of their own. Anna held the [Harmonious Yin Yang Dragon Heavenly Shield], as the shield unleashed a gigantic barrier of light, which merged seamlessly with a barrier of shadows forged by Jack’s shield, which he manifested from his own hands.

Fleshy tendrils intertwined with hard shell and black metal, forming a huge black shield composed of scales, shells, and exoskeleton, a sinister fusion of various Skills from Monsters that Jack had acquired and blended through the powers of Fenrir. The shield’s design featured the roaring face of a black wolf with red eyes at its center, embodying Fenrir’s unyielding tenacity and might.

“HAAAAH!”

Both siblings thrust the shields forward, the deadly breath attack unleashed by the monstrous beast repelled straight back into its mouth, and as they drew near enough, their Cosmic Auras surged dramatically. Anna’s thunder and holy light infused her shield, and Jack mirrored the feat, replicating her shield through his body’s extraordinary transformation abilities, empowering the shield with his own Cosmic Energy.

“[Divine Heavenly Harmony Dragon’s Breath]!”

Anna triggered her shield’s ability, absorbing all the damage it had endured and unleashing it anew, as the golden dragon within her shield parted its maw and expelled a gigantic breath of pure light.

“{Chaos Repulsion}!”

At the same instant, Jack’s shield detonated with a massive beam of chaotic abyssal darkness, distorting space around them as it surged downward.

Both beams swiftly infused with Gram’s powers, assuming the form of two coiling dragons of light and darkness, roaring ferociously before slamming into the gigantic beast’s head.

“GRYAAAACK!”

The monstrous beast emitted an agonizing scream. It proved incapable of withstanding the assault alone, and attempted to flee, only to encounter a wave of frost encasing half of its body, as Snow materialized behind it, halting its escape. With retreat impossible, the beast ingested the entire double counterattack, the force piercing its insides and vaporizing portions of its internal structure, as a cascade of explosions built up, obliterating the entire gigantic behemoth in an instant.

BOOOMMM!!!

The massive creature’s body ripped to shreds, plummeting to the ground below and ravaging a substantial half of the Dynamite Tree Forest. Fragments of its enormously immense and resilient shell scattered everywhere… everyone observing from the skies above fell utterly silent.

They had anticipated the siblings would require a little while to contend with such a colossal monster and formidable threat, yet both dispatched it far swifter than anyone could have conceived.

The truth was, both were profoundly experienced at confronting gigantic monsters already and knew precisely where to strike.

“Immensely big and tough enemies seem to have no weaknesses, until you target the interior of their mouths. Their insides always turn out to be really soft,” Jack commented, smirking as he surveyed the remnants of the creature.

“Yeah, that’s the best strategy,” Anna nodded. “But still, what was that shield you made?! It was kind of cool!”

“I copied your own shield in functions to an extent, and merged several skills I had for a while,” he explained. “Like the Black Shell of the Onyx Snail, the Abyss Drake Scales, Lava Salamander Tendons, and so on to create a biological shield out of my hands. The energy repulsion effect is strong, but it destroys the shield.”

“I see, isn’t it dangerous for you or it doesn’t matter?” Anna wondered.

“Don’t worry, my regeneration has already taken care of that,” he said, as he showed his sister his hands completely unscathed. “Though there’s an annoying feeling to it but it’s fading away rapidly. Now, where were we? Ah right.”

“I think we’ve dealt with them, the rest of the beasts are actually not even a threat to us,” Anna said with a smile.

The two siblings confronted what remained of the monsters, a vast swarm of around a hundred Kamikaze Beasts, most of them medium-sized, between the smaller and the bigger ones.

“Let’s end this quickly then, we still got some ground to cover before we reach that damned dragon,” Jack said, gripping his Gram tightly. “Anna, I’ll take the right side.”

“Then I’ll go for the left!” Anna nodded.

FLASH!

Both siblings plunged downward, Anna akin to a thunderbolt as she wielded her thunderous abilities and Gram to cleave and blast through the monsters by the dozens, while Jack summoned tempests of black flames and sonic waves of energy, both siblings annihilating this group of enemies in mere seconds.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

As the explosions devoured the creatures, the two completed their task, glancing upward to discover everyone else had also concluded their efforts. Jack felt profoundly relieved that Henrietta was unharmed, realizing his concern for her safety had been excessively amplified, and that she could adeptly defend herself without complication.

Violet gradually descended toward Anna and Jack, allowing them to mount his broad back effortlessly.

“Well! That was amazing! I had no freaking idea you guys could finish off that thing so easily!” Hilda said.

“I guess it makes sense… they’re really strong… that thing was huge but not impossible to defeat,” Kevin nodded. “Don’t you remember? They even felled a Constellation.”

“Right…” Baihe nodded. “Well, I never really doubted Anna.”

“And I never doubted my Jack either,” Henrietta smiled, kissing Jack’s face.

“That was great!” Annabelle nodded. “But what do we do now with the corpses? Aren’t they too dangerous? Um, are there even cores left from all the explosions?”

“Yeah that’s the complicated part, I guess we’ll have to skip this area and move on, we can find more resources deeper anyway,” Jack was ready to depart, however…

“Don’t worry, I think I can do something,” Anna said.
