“Hahaha! HAHAHA! NOW I CAN—”

BAAAM!

As Ezekiel laughed viciously, a powerful kick struck the back of his head, sending him flying at lightning speed. He rolled through the forest, obliterating hundreds of trees along the way. 

“You damn…!” 

Ezekiel reacted just in time as he saw two crimson figures approach. Mother Scarlet unsealed her power further, becoming taller and more demonic in appearance. Her blazing fists pummeled his entire body from left to right, but Ezekiel quickly adapted to her fighting style, blocking and parrying her blows with the sharp claws of his hands, slicing through her body. 

“You’re strong, woman, but you cannot hope to face me alone!” 

The Ancient Ruler laughed, only for the buzzing sound of insect wings to approach from behind. A sharp stinger struck his legs several times, targeting the area where his exoskeleton had been melted, injecting paralyzing venom. 

“GAAH?! Insecta! Y-You damn bitch…!” 

Ezekiel swung his fists at her, catching her and pummeling her body to the ground. He held her face tightly, pushing her down, shattering the earth beneath her and creating a loud tremor. 

“Nnnggh…! You damn bitch! I’ll crush your face! And I’ll turn your body into my eternal slave!” 

Insecta kept fighting, stabbing his legs with her stinger dozens of times while punching and kicking his face and body. Ezekiel resisted the blows, even though they hurt immensely, focusing on crushing her face as cracks appeared across her exoskeleton. All the while, he held Mother Scarlet by the neck, lifting her up as she groaned in agony, slowly asphyxiating. 

“I want to see you go slowly, struggle. The more you suffer, the tastier your souls become…! Yes, scream, cry! You will—” 

BOOOM!

“GAAACK?!” 

Ezekiel vomited blood as a powerful thunderbolt struck his body, engulfing him in deadly black and purple flames. His grip weakened, allowing Mother Scarlet and Insecta to break free and escape! 

“W-WHO?! WHO IS IT NOW?!” 

The Ancient King glared into the distance, noticing a knight clad in black and red armor, wreathed in red flames. He pointed his swords at him—one made of crimson and blue crystals, the other of purple flames. 

“Sorry for being late. Let’s end this already.” 

“YOU…?!” 

Ezekiel’s eyes widened as his body burned. This entire time, he had thought Vlad was dead, that he had killed him! Distracted by all these battles, he had truly believed that fly was crushed, and the next step was to destroy his city and move on to the capital of the Iron Blood Empire.

And yet… he was right there! 

“Did I trick you? It was just a little clone made of flames. For an ancient king, I can’t believe you actually fell for it.” 

“YOU BASTARD!!!” 

Ezekiel roared monstrously, his entire body suddenly doubling in size as his insectoid form fully unleashed. His handsome face transformed into the head of a mantis-wasp hybrid, with larger insectoid wings, two additional pairs of long, sharp arms with even sharper claws, and a hunched appearance. 

“KRIEEEEEHHH!” 

After all the damage he had taken, the Raid Boss’s Health Points were now below 10%, enough to trigger his last-ditch effort—a transformation that enhanced his stats even further, making him exponentially harder for players to hunt. 

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

Countless deadly blows rained from Ezekiel’s six claws, striking Vlad with immense force through the skies and sending him crashing down. Ezekiel kept attacking his armor, trying to shatter it. 

“DIEEEEE!” 

With a mighty scream, the insectoid king raised his arms to the sky and struck Vlad’s head with all his might, unleashing an explosion of blue and golden flames from his aura alone as it erupted with immense power! 

BOOOMMM!!! 

“Kehehaha… KEKEKAHAHAHAH! He’s gone! Reduced to mere ashes! I WON! I—” 

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

“Guh?!” 

Ezekiel suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back as a pair of swords sliced through his wings, stripping away his ability to fly at his usual incredible speeds. 

“Y-You…?!” 

“What you just destroyed was another of those clones.” 

“WHAT?!” 

The ancient king was left speechless as he realized Vlad was, in fact, not dead. His body was almost intact, and from his aura, purple lightning and Flames of Judgment surged, bombarding Ezekiel with a series of explosions, burning through his body over and over. 

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

“GRAAAAHHHH!” 

As the ancient king agonized, Vlad rushed forward, wielding the lightning and flames with his swords and the power of Grand Geomancy. 

“YOU DAMN BASTARD…! DON’T UNDERESTIMATE MEEEEE!” 

Ezekiel roared as he was consumed by Vlad’s magic, charging forward and clashing against both of his swords! However, he realized his legs were becoming numb and unresponsive, slowing him down considerably. 

“M-My legs…! That bitch’s poison! It’s working?! Wait, no! I cannot lose! This cannot be happening to me! After thousands of years…!” 

Ezekiel screamed internally as Vlad’s swordsmanship rapidly overwhelmed him. Slashing attacks from above, below, left, and right assaulted him without end! To make matters worse, Vlad wielded the elements of his own magic, forging new swords and piercing through the ancient king’s body, accumulating damage rapidly. 

“NOOOOOO!” 

The ancient king screamed as the ground beneath Vlad shook. The entire forest trembled as thousands of souls Ezekiel had taken over began “possessing” a large area around him. 

“I’LL CRUSH YOU BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN HARM ME ANYMOREEEEE!” 

“Shit!” 

Vlad quickly stepped back and escaped as massive boulders surged from the ground, encompassing Ezekiel’s entire body and rapidly forging a massive titan over three hundred meters tall, made of the entire Night Forest. 

“Is he for real?!” 

Chris arrived just in time, reaching Vlad and grabbing him. Using the Angelic Wings of his Heavenly Emperor Transformation, he flew higher and higher, avoiding thousands of boulders coming from everywhere. 

“It seems he really doesn’t want to die!” 

“I can tell!”
