THE BOURNE SUPREMACY - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to The Bourne Supremacy! This might be crazy, but I think I liked this one even more than the first! My man Jason Bourne deserves better!!! I just want everyone to leave him alone and let him live his life in peace (but hey, I realize that we wouldn't have movies if that was the case). Enjoy!

THE BOURNE SUPREMACY - Full Length Reaction!

I don’t know if I have a favourite from the original trilogy but the great thing about this one is how tightly contained it is. They set up the mystery and then it plays out. The murder of Danny Zorn is probably the stand out twist. Brian Cox is so good as a corrupt old man. I have two recommendations of 2000s spy movies based off the Bourne Supremacy. Breach (2007) stars Chis Cooper (Conklin in the Bourne films) as a real life CIA agent. It’s a true story and absolutely gripping. And, Hannah (2011) is very Bourne inspired action movie for about half its time but is also something far stranger and intriguing. It’s hard to talk about without spoiling but it’s excellent and would be a great reaction.

RIGHT at the beginning 😭 I wish they had more time together!

Ahhh I knew he looked a lil familiar but I had forgotten he was in X2! Such a good bad guy!

Brian Cox who played Ward Abott, is one of my favorite bad guys. He was also in X2 who was responsible for implanting the adamantium in Logan's body. Brian Cox does have a role where he's not the bad guy. Interested in finding out? Stay tuned, Addie David Webb ... with that we get a key piece of Jason's past.

Addie: "Your jobs not done though, Bourne is still alive" Me: "SHHHHhhhhh he doesn't know that" 😂

I'm not sure I can pick a favorite Bourne movie, but this one is definitely very good. What makes the first movie, The Bourne Identity, unique for me is the atmosphere in the early parts of the movie: his arriving with the fishing boat at the coast in gloomy weather, nighttime in snowy Switzerland, and the desolation of having no identity and nowhere to go. Supremacy is different. It starts with Bourne's having something close to a happy life, before his past catches up with him. What I find heart-breaking about Marie's death is that if Bourne hadn't made her drive, he would probably have died, because I think the assassin was aiming for the driver. I do like the pacing and story-telling in this one. It's not too difficult to follow the plot. It's not like one of those spy movies that have a hundred twists, double-twists, and reverse-double-twists. I enjoyed this reaction. Looking forward to Ultimatum.

It's not crazy at all, a lot of people consider this one to be the best in the whole series, including me. The "It's easy, she's standing right next to you" bit is still one of my all-time favorite movie moments. And Joan Allen did a brilliant job as Pamela Landy, playing her as an adversary but not an enemy. I don't think Ultimatum is AS good, but it is still very good and you'll enjoy it quite a bit.

Russia. Where the cars are not made of tin foil and plastic!

Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear as co-joined twins in "Stuck On You". Two brothers have never been closer...

Btw, Addie, this isn't related to the post but i got to see all 3 lord of the rings films over the weekend in theatres. Extended remastered editions and they did a tribute to Bernard Hill, and it made everybody cry during his moments in return of the king. The theatere was packed all 3 days to watch him shine.

Yes! I would LOVE to see someone react to "Rounders"! Not to say your other suggestions aren't also good, but "Rounders" please!

BubblyRainbows

This is my fav as well. It's like, I have no worries for Jason Bourne, but everybody else should be worried about him instead! You pissed him off by killing his woman. My fav part? "She standing right next to you" chills every time.

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 I've been looking forward to the continuation of the "Bourne Series". I remember bits and pieces of this one. So for the most part it'll be somewhat of a re-watch for me. A some other great Matt Damon movies that I very highly recommend is "The Talented Mr. Ripley"(1999), "Eurotrip"(2004), "Rounders"(1998), and "The Rainmaker"(1997). Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Happy Monday, Addie. The danger gets bigger here with The Bourne Supremacy (2004). The camerawork also gets shakier, now that Paul Greengrass directs. Marie's death, at the beginning, was very heartbreaking. IMO, Bourne deserved a happier life, but now has to keep running again. Just like with the previous movie, I also own this one on DVD in both Widescreen (2.39:1) & Full Screen (1.33:1) formats as well. See you soon for The Bourne Ultimatum (2007).

Yes, Marie being abruptly killed off right at the beginning remains one of the most shocking movie deaths from the last 20+ years for me.
