ROCKY BALBOA - Full Length Reaction!

Here's the full length reaction to Rocky Balboa! This movie was a satisfying end for me. I'm planning on watching Creed, but I'm planning on taking a lil break from these movies before getting into that. Enjoy!

There an alternate ending to this movie! It's on YouTube.

Found it! "Music and Lyrics" (2007)!!!

Tony Burton's training pre-speech always gives me chills, but nothing beats, "Welcome to Rockyland." Also RIP Tony Burton.

Wish addie watched the Extended version. You get to see Paulie have an amazing very heartfelt scene that too many reactors miss.

This was a good way to end the Rocky series (not counting Creed, which are very good movies as well in their own right!) I think overall it comes across stronger than IV and V. πŸ™‚ And yeah, all these movies are driven by Rocky's understated humble and charming and supportive person in the face of various obstacles life throws at him. For example, the line right after the fight where he sincerely tells Dixon "You're a great champion" after a pretty rough 10 round match where neither of them was holding back for most of it is a great example of Rocky's character. I've seen the first two Creed movies and they're both great so I'm looking forward to eventually rewatching them here as well. πŸ‘

The best Paulie scene of the entire series was filmed for this movie and it was cut out of the theatrical cut. At least you can find it on YouTube. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Aaron Chandler

It's crazy because Mike Tyson is gonna fight Jake Paul which kinda mirrors this movie.

Steve SG-1

After watching six reactions with you, this was also a satisfying end.

Frankly, I'd just as soon see you finish the franchise ASAP so you can then move on to another one so that it's completely out of the way. Of course, I'd also like to see you finish off the "Godfather" trilogy, as well as continue the "Lethal Weapon," "Matrix," "Terminator," Hannibal Lecter, and James Bond series, too. I'll also just add that the thumbnails for your last few reactions haven't been showing up on my computer, for whatever reason. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I forgot to mention in rocky 4, Stallone was almost killed due to being hit in the chest so hard it caused his heart to go out of rhythm. He pretty much had a heart attack as during the Rocky films 4 and up they are actually punching each other.

They used a bunch of real boxing folk for this movie (and this is true for the other Rockys as well). Dixon was played by Antonio Tarver, who was a good boxer in his day. The broadcasters were the old HBO Boxing crew, the referee was an actual referee, the ring announcer was Michael Buffer (just about everyone is familiar with his "let's get ready to rumble" line), and even the judges on the scorecards were real judges. About the number of rounds: For safety reasons, fights are no longer 15 rounds (that happened in the mid 80s). Now championship and "significant" matches are 12 rounds, and other fights are typically 10. This one, being an exhibition bout, is only 10. Don't know if you caught this, but Spider Rico had several appearances throughout this movie. He was the guy that Rocky fought at the beginning of Rocky I. He was played by Pedro Lovell, who was also a real boxer.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 Congratulations on completing the Rocky part of the Rocky/Creed franchise! πŸ‘πŸ‘ I agree. This movie is a satisfying ending to Rocky's journey. Love Milo Ventimiglia stepping into the role of Rocky Jr.(Robert). Rocky's speech to his son about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward is one of my all-time favorite Rocky moments. And Rocky's "Yo Adrian. We did it" at the end always gets me a little misty eyed. Glad that you'll be continuing on with the "Creed" trilogy since it is a part of Rocky. It's good to take a break in between. After you've completed the "Creed" trilogy I'm going to rank the Rocky/Creed movies for you. πŸ‘Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Let's give Addie a round of applause for officially completing the Rocky franchise. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Happy Wednesday. The Rocky road now smoothes out with Rocky Balboa (2006). This is also a perfect pallette cleanse after watching Twister (1996), which did leave you feeling stressed out. See you soon for Creed (2015) and until then, see you tomorrow for your March Q&A.
