Iβm surprised that Billy never got the blame put on him when they found out he had dealt with it before. The part I really liked was when the electric gremlin got put on hold and had to deal with the music and it hated it! That was brilliant! So G2 is now checked off.

2024-02-09 18:10:01 +0000 UTCAnother franchise in the books for Addie! π Of course, apparently Chris Columbus has had a "Gremlins 3" in development for several years now; whether it ever actually comes to fruition remains to be seen. I'm guessing the drama with the first one on YT drove the decision to make this an exclusive? If you couldn't tell, just like with Biff in the alternate 1985 timeline in "Back to the Future, Part II," Daniel Clamp was a parody of Donald Trump. He was initially seen as the antagonist of the movie, but John Glover (who you may also remember as Bryce Cummings from "Scrooged") ended up making him more endearing than originally intended.

I keep forgetting that Christopher Lee(RIP always) is in this. The talking Gremlin had always been my favorite of the "new batch" of Gremlins. As you saw Mr. & Mrs. Futterman survived their run in with the tractor in the first movie. And Billy and Kate are still going strong. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. And I might even re-watch your reaction for the first movie as well. Have a great day today & weekend! π

I enjoyed it too, especially with all of the different personalities of the Gremlins themselves in this one. Both are good but I still prefer the first movie, given it has more horror elements.
