It's interesting how so many anime shows seem to conflate the concept of forgiveness with forgetting the past (the whole "I won't forgive/forget what you did, but, I will rise above it" thing) because I've always been taught forgiveness isn't about forgetting the hurt someone's inflicted upon you, but it's actually about rising above the pain and not seeking revenge.

2025-11-01 19:21:35 +0000 UTCfwiw; this was the episode I was kinda hoping you would watch the OVA's for; the first one gives a little bit more depth with Winry especially the scene where she give Ed her earrings of all things, and the idea of Ishval and Amestrian Soldiers and the relationship between them plays a big part in the second one. Regardless; you think there's' been twists so far? Just wait until next ep lol; it's going to blow your mind~
