I feel like there are some other significant deaths you can consider significant aside from ACE and Belmare: Gold Roger, White Beard, Tom, Zoro's friend Kuina, Robin's mom, Saul, Sabo. Also I want to again reiterate it was NOT bs that Enel lost to Luffy lol, but I guess thats debatable

2025-10-31 02:05:17 +0000 UTCSpoiler free discussion about the Straw Hats parents being important: of the 4 crew members that we know nothing about their parents, so Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Franky; (I mean, Brook is also there technically; but the guys literally 90 years old, so we probably don't need to worry about his parents XD) 1 of them is going end up being massively important to the story, 1 is going to be... kinda(?) important to the story? (this ones actually quite a mess) 1 is confirmed to *not* be important to the story, and 1 we still know literally nothing about so who knows what Oda has in his pocket there. I'll leave it to you to guess which character is which~

2025-10-31 01:46:19 +0000 UTCSpeaking of Enel actually; your editor mentioned during one of his old yap sessions that there was an official number for what his bounty *would* be if the World Government knew of his existence and place a bounty on him, but didn't mention it at the time because of spoilery reasons. As such, this moment seems to be a good a time any to reveal it; Oda officially stated (I think it was around about the Saboady Arc when we were meeting all the rookies that he said this, but don't quote me on that) Enels bounty would be 500 Million: so a full 100 Million more then Luffy has right now. That said: this is the point of the story where Bounty numbers start looking a bit... strange... but we'll get to that when we get to it lol. just remember that 2 years ago; Enel would've been worth half a billion.
