It was something that was very very briefly mentioned when they were developing their 'finishing moves' (i.e. Deku's 'kick' style). But for the invisible girl's finishing move she mentioned that she's learned to play around with her transparency to refract light. So when they were doing the drill in the first episode she actually used a move "warp refraction" to do basically a flash-bang on the flying girl (from the Big 3). You were looking to see if she'd finally have her 'time to shine' (ironic wording), but I'm not sure if you caught it.
