She’s good sometimes, but she does also make it feel like she’s the only person who experienced loss ever. Her emotions guide her most of the time. Like when she blindly follows jet instead of her brother. She isn’t traumatized anymore, losing someone during a war isn’t trauma, even if she was a child. Everyone experiences loss, it’s inevitable, there’s no benefit sobbing over that.

Also she wasn’t acting like she had it the worst her comment to Sokka was hurtful but it’s true he can’t even remember what his mom looks like. They both have different traumas with their mom’s loss she’s been filling the void for years just like Sokka said she’s always looked out for him. And I don’t know why you’re defending Zuko she had every right to hate his ass. Let’s not forget they connected over the loss of their moms Zuko literally said “I’m sorry that’s something we have in common” just to turn on her minutes later😭 and saying Zuko was mature is laughable he’s anything but mature

She was really childish in the beginning, all the rest are more mature about these topics. She can avenge her mother that’s all right, but not act around them like she had it the worst. Zuko has it worse than her and he’s not crying as much as she.

Katara stopped him at the right moment during the avatar state or he would’ve gone all out without hesitation. Unlike Katara who hesitated at the last moment, Aang didn’t.
