Just catching up on this, might have something helpful to add. I used to own a few games stores and we were a chain of stores who, like show z, tried to muscle the competition with discounts via buying power. I wasn't selling toys per se, but was still making most of my money from Hasbro (MTG and DND). If i didn't cash out before the covid hit, I'd probly try my hand at selling 3p at this point.
Anyways, We ran up against a company who didn't like discount pricing (Fantasy Flight Games) so they instituted a MAP, which stands for minimum agreed pricing. They cut off a few of the other stores in the chain and constantly threatened to cut off all of us due to our discount policies (and us legitimately trying to subvert their map). FFG had the clout and reputation to put their foot down, which is pretty similar to Fans Toys status in 3p world.
Fans Toys probably did the same thing after hearing constant complaints from buyers and distributors, and instituted a MAP.

Any idea why jp Thomas version is $60 cheaper than us retail? Still listed as incoming? ShowZ striking back?
