I was almost the exact opposite for me but I haven't had a chance at all of the options, namely MP44 Prime, there just was no way I was paying $500. But after hearing your end statement about shelf presence and looking back, I have to agree with your whole thoughts on him. I have only MS versions of him, the metallic version of 1.0 and the 2.0 and love both figures for there own reasons. 2.0 sits better with the rest of my Autobots while the metallic goes into my Prime/Megatron collection.

Excitement is hard to keep up for sure. FT had a lot of releases and I hope 23 is just as prolific. XTB has a lot on preorder/announced so they may release a lot too. It’s conceivable that we complete some TF, XTB, and MMC combiners this year as well. With inevitable repaints. So I’m looking at maybe 15-20 purchases. Pretty good. One every 2-3 weeks. Fingers crossed.
