The kitty litter story has been debunked. The original story was traced back to a mention of a school using kitty litter as a way to deal with kids needing to go to the bathroom during lock-downs. I believe it was actually a Columbine school. This ridiculous story has made it up here to the Prairies of Canada. It was brought up a a city meeting that a school in a nearby area had done this. The story is always a friend of a friend's kid goes to a school that did this, but never first hand knowledge because it is the same as when gay marriage was an issue, and people always knew someone who knew someone that was going to marry an animal.
