Long rant/comment: Listened to this and the "Enter the Realm" episode 8 discussion. I completely agree with Bobby. The only bad part of this movie is the Finn/Rose storyline. The rest ALL made perfect sense to me. Yes, there were changes, but those changes seemed appropriate. The Snoke/Rey revelations were exactly what I expected and I knew it would piss people off. People are judging and comparing this movie to the story they made up in their heads over the last 2 years. Snoke not having a back story is NOT bad storytelling, lol. Admiral Purple Hair's decision to not tell Poe about her plan is NOT bad storytelling. (People do make bad decisions in critical situations.) Separate tangent: Before seeing episode 8, I was sure Rey's character was created to be a "nobody" to prove anyone can "rise", so to speak. Now that that point has been made in Episode 8... I am convinced they will turn the tables again in Episode 9 and we will find out Rey and Kylo are related. (While I could be wrong, there is still a lot more to tell about Rey's parents, her vision from Episode 7, and how Kylo "burned down" the temple.)
