So I decided to answer that question
The cup was barely empty when the itch started. At first he thought it was just an insect or something, but soon he realized something was happening to him. It took perhaps 10 minutes until he scratched off the first scab of skin. A little over four hours until the last piece came off. He was exhausted, sweaty, and more than a little ambivalent about the new ink he had. If it even was ink.
