Hey everyone. First off, I'd like to apologize for being absent for so long without posting anything. I'm (still) getting my butt kicked by cronic pain stuff, and I'm still trying to figure out why.
Second, I don't know what I did to deserve such amazing support in my life, but all of you have been helping me more than I can articulate. I really, really appreciate each and every one of you, and I'll do my best to show you that.
Third, if you haven't heard already, MC12 will be released the day after Madness Day this year (September 23rd) and I'll put the spurs to myself to get the soundtrack up and streaming by that time. Golly, it seems like I've been going back and forth from "healthy and active" to "recovering and waiting" for quite some time now. In fact, I think this has been happening since late 2019 when I evacuated from Idaho (for personal and mental safety reasons) and returned to my ol' stomping grounds in Colorado.
Some of you have been with me the entire time, and some of you have popped in and out from time to time. And still, some of you are brand new and may not have any idea of what I'm talking about. Regardless, thank you all! I won't go into any past history or details. I just want to convey my thanks and my gratitude to every single one of you.
As of today, both of my hips have been completely replaced, and I can walk without assistance. Granted, it is an unsteady shuffle, but it is a shuffle none the less. The severity of the cronic pain that has been trying to kill me has gone down significantly overall, and I couldn't be more grateful to everyone who has helped me figure this out.
I'm slowly testing the amount of time I can sit down and concentrate, and it's getting longer and longer on a daily basis. Woohoo!!! There are still some lingering issues from both surgeries that are keeping me from a lot of goals, but I anticipate that those will vanish over the next few months.
Again, thank you so much for your support through everything!!! Some of you have made requests about songs and projects, and I'm focusing on getting those answered and fulfilled asap. Thank you for being patient!
Aaaaaand a huge thank you to Krinkels and my core 4, for consistently proving that friendship transcends space and time. He truly is The Man.
So, what's my point? My point is that I think I'm fixed! Or as fixed as I'm going to get. (Which is 1000x better than where I started). And that I can get back to full-time work soon.
I'm still avoiding a lot of online hubs because it's impossible not to get sucked in and excited and to start making plans that I can't live up to. I'm not quite ready for everything. I'm sooooo close, though!

Imagine the vast infinity of space. A galaxy sized viking style blacksmith hammering lightwaves into sharper, stronger, and brighter versions before pin-pointing your exact location, trillions of light years away, and hurling it directly at you with the force of a thousand gods. It could hit you at any time, lifting your body up into the heavens and shattering you into a million peices. All to be collected and sent back to the blacksmith where he will use your shattered mind to forge a new light wave. All of this happening within your mind, of course. No one was harmed in the making of this song.
Surgery went well! Can't wait for the next one to be over! Here's some MC12 update goodness. Short and sweet and to the point. The mic is a little loud, so please watch your ears? That doesn't sound right...
In the moment, I have these outlandish ideas that I think are completely plausible and amazing. The problem is that as more and more time goes by, I become more and more distracted by other things and lose interest and energy for the thing I was originally excited about.
It would help me tremendously if you would leave some feedback about this particular idea. Does it sound interesting to you? Would you enjoy seeing something like this?
If so, I can start mapping out routes, buying bear spray, and making sure I have what I need to take care of my dumb body. I could also stay at motels instead of camping, but it would be significantly more expensive and less fun.
If this sounds like another of my pipe dreams, don't be afraid to say so. I have a lot of random thoughts that sound great to me but are actually really, really dumb and sometimes harmful to myself and others...
The reason I'm posting about this is because I actually think it's doable, and it might spark something long-term.
From the SiN 3.5 album. The other song I made for that album will have a music video soon, too. Not really "new" news, but I thought I'd post it here too.
We'll be premiering the SiN doc on the 22nd. but I wanted to give you a little sneak peak into what I made for it. It was originally going to be just remixes of any song from that album, but I couldn't seem to make any meaningful headway on Afterlife by Whalefat. That song is still one of my all time favorites from him. I wish I could have sent out a worthy tribute. Alas, I was only able to get these 2 original compositions done.
The first is more of a original style Cheshyre song. It's quick, it's to the point, and hopefully, it's catchy. I hope you like it!
The second is more of an attempt to make some kind of prog rock, like a Mogwai styled pacific northwest indie rock/electro song...? Or something. I threw in a little Hitchhiker's Guide reference because, to me, it sounds like a song that people would dance to as the universe slowly winked out of existence. I don't know why that reminded me of Douglas Adams, but I'm sure there was a good reason for it when I named it!

Yesterday's livestream t'was a blast, but my body sure does hate me today. Even the weather is telling me to stay inside!
Just a quick "hello, I'm still here" kind of message. Krinkels and Cturix have been very inspiring lately , and our conversations have given me some ideas for MC12's soundtrack. If I ever get out of my car, then I'll turn some thoughts into mp4's and share progress with all of you.

It's not a "new" new song, but it now has a video and is being distributed. So, that's good! It took me about a week to make the video and I realize now that I probably should have been recording that process... I will do that for the next video that I make. My mind hasn't been working very well lately. Anywho, I hope you enjoy it!
I'm going to make it public a little later today. Again, I'm sorry for not documenting and communicating very well before this release. I've been having some bad weeks and haven't been able to get my shit together. I know I've made videos about this song before but I didn't do a very good job of keeping everyone up to date about this little music video project. I will try to do better next time.
I still need to mess around with the sound settings in the streaming software. The mic sounds a little too crackly and crispy and the different volumes for the different screens is all outta whack, BUT I wanted to get this video made and sent before I talked myself out of it. Progress!
It slowly worked its way over the mountains and hovered over town for the entire night. My equipment is set up so that I'm facing the window that looks out towards the mountains, and I watched it coming almost the entire day, on and off. I got a little spooked when the lightning started striking closer and closer. Surrounded by electronics and power sources, I decided that I'd move away from the window but continue to watch and listen to the storm. It was awesome!!!
The whole experience inspired me to try and translate that stormy night into a song. I've got a few things that I need to do, but I'll post what I have so far a little later today.
I'd also like to mention our very own Aszon for being one of the coolest people ever. They reached out to me, out of the blue, and offered to help me improve my livestreaming efforts! I'll show off their work in the upcoming video, but I wanted to mention them here and to say Thank you!!!

Now, you may have heard about some of these newfangled, scientifical advances in musical medicine, but I assure you, fine folks, that the tried and true method of Floobin has stood the test of time and will be relied upon heavily, in the A.I. wars to come!

Sometimes, I get so caught up in my own stuff that I forget about some really important details. I remember bringing up the idea of pausing patreon payments (say that 5x fast) once before, but I never went further than mentioning it. Krinkels has the right ideas, though. I was checking out his latest post on Patreon, and he's decided to pause payments due to the lengthy process of getting MC12 done. I think that's a great idea and the right thing to do. So, I'm going to put payments on pause (say that 10x fast), also.
Don't worry! I'll still get some progress videos up here for you all to check out! I've been working on getting a few recordings done, and I'll do my best to post them asap.
As frustrating as it is, and as much as I absolutely hate talking about this... there are some new problems with my back that I'm trying to get figured out. The last procedure hasn't provided any relief so far.. there's still about 2 weeks left before we can call it a success or not.
So, in short: I'm not charging for this month. I'm still going to be posting updates and videos. My back sucks but we're working on it.

I'll be uploading MC12 progress in the next few days, but I wanted to say hello, real quick. I've been a bit busy these last few weeks. I went to Portland, Oregon, to meet up with an old friend. After that, I went up to Denver to support my friendly resident, DJ, Lea Luna. We've been friends since we were teenagers, and I'm super proud of her. I included some pictures of my travels from my strange perspective. The mountain landscape pictures include Pikes Peak and a little bit of a park here called Garden of the God's. See if you can find the "kissing camels"! I've also figured out how to create new merch on Amazon for artists, and I'm testing out a hoodie and a few shirts before I try and promote anything. Patreon merch is a nice feature, but it is needlessly complicated, and I fear that it's not working correctly.... Ok, I'll get working on a new MC12 video.
Fun fact: The pictures that I've attached, besides the Official Cheshyre ones, were generated by a A.I. app. All of them are the result of me entering a brief description for the "art-bot" to reference. It's interesting because I used the titles of some of my songs for some of these pictures. See if you can guess which ones are which. These are the song titles I entered, in no particular order. Siamese Worlds. Napalm Rain. Roadtrip through the Apocolypse. And Chesyre (ok, so not all were song titles)
I think this A.I. art is fascinating. I'm sure that the A.I. generated music is just as profound!
I found an app where you type in some descriptions and out pops some interesting artwork. Not as valuable as the real thing, but really interesting!
