Newsletter: October 2025

Happy October, everyone! I thought I'd begin the month with some kind of long form check-in with you each. This is something I've had on my mind for a while, but, the headless chicken that I am hadn't gotten around to it.

I will begin with listing my plans for the month in terms of what you can expect as patrons, and then I will discuss the previous month's artworks before finishing with some personal thoughts and news. Thank you for taking the time to read, and if this is something you enjoy and would like me to do more often, please say so in a reply.

What to expect in October 2025:

• I'm taking us all to Spirit Halloween, or rather, I'm bringing it to US. I am brimming with the Halloween spirit this year, which is something I've not enjoyed for some years now, and I would like to indulge in some appropriate artwork for the holiday.

  This includes:

  • a Leon S. Kennedy and Mr. X piece I have begun and will be working on during live streams. Here is a peek at the thumbnail I began with, some good ol' face-down ass UP!

    

  • Some sort of costumed fun involving Lorenzo, Donny, and the newly revealed Superseed. I have the thought of dressing them up, with Lorenzo transformed into an adorable golden retriever werepuppy, Superseed as the vampire lord, Dracula, and Donny brought to life as Frankenstein's monster, which is something I first did back in 2015 (10 years ago SCREAM) take a look at that art below.

    

    I also had a thought to make an old hollywood inspired horror movie poster featuring the three, I even sketched a thumbnail of Superseed menacingly behind Frankendonny, with Puppy Lorenzo up front.

    

• Of course, I also plan to complete at least 1-2 more pages of the Superseed and Goldenboy comic. Page 1 was completed last month, and page 2 is almost done as well, with page 3's flat colours done too. I am particularly happy with how I have been able to expedite my process by including my sketch lines in my work. This may not be something everyone notices, but it saved me quite a lot of time that I would otherwise spend rendering, and I think still maintains the crisp, polished look that I so enjoy achieving with my work.

  Will there be other tricks up my sleeve this month? We shall see, but regardless, I hope you find these ideas a treat!

On a more personal note, I have spent the last week rather unwell, moreso than I ever recall being in the past. I am not sure what I caught, but it kept me miserable and in bed for several days. I am feeling much much better right now, thankfully, and I am filled with vigour to create! I am still not out of the woods with certain outstanding commission works, but I am confident I will finally put a cap on them in the coming week or two, and then that should free my capacity up to perhaps take on some more. So, if you are interested in potentially commissioning me in the near future, please stay tuned, as I will indeed make announcments across Patreon and my other socials.

I recently came into contact with a brilliant writer and mind, and after sharing and discussing many of my plans for Crown's, I have come to see that I have some tidying up to do with Derek's introductory chapter, and in pursuit of a stronger narrative, must create more additional scenes than I had planned. While the idea of including more art for his chapter does excite me, I also feel frustration. Just how long am I going to incubate this thing?! Thank you to everyone with an interest in seeing Derek's defilement in 4k visual novel glory, I do think these additions will be for the best.
