Not to backseat write, but Miguel should have had a small team, like the one at the end of the movie, and that just be the only people in the spider society. Peter B should be a member entirely to protect Miles from being eliminated by Miguel. Honestly, as it stands this movie will live or die by the last film since so many threads were hanging in the air.

I feel like canon events are an excuse for the spider society to shirk responsibility for their mistakes. I’m fine with canon events being a thing because it’s bullshit. The problem is that this belief in canon events extends way beyond Miguel and kind of assassinated the character of Peter Parker as a whole because why would a multiverse of Peter Parker’s agree to this?
