Friday Rambles 2023-12-01

It is the first of December, 2023. The final month of the year, but I’m still not even used to it being 2023 yet!

So this past week, I was mostly busy with family stuff, as well as recovering from a week of nonstop marketing and comics work for the Steam Autumn Sale and the Tiger-chan plushie sell-a-thon. The Autumn Sale went about as well as I could have hoped, and as for the Tiger-chan plushie, we made it to 200 sold! That means the thing is actually going to be made and shipped out to people who ordered it. I’m still kinda hoping for it to do at least as well as the Blythe plushie, though.

I rushed this out in record time because I have to make another thing for INDIE Live Expo, which is tonight (at 2 am Pacific time. lol). There's a livestream, I guess, and they might talk about my game for 15 seconds. Check it out. More importantly, there's gonna be a discount, so I'm gonna have to update the discount picture.

Not much else to say, really. I've been so busy with family stuff for the holidays and doing all these holiday shopping season sales event marketing campaign things that I've had almost no time for actual game dev. But localization work continues in the background, at least. It's also been nice drawing again, but I kinda wish it wasn't for a bunch of marketing things lol (but I probably wouldn't have drawn anything else if it weren't for that, so...)
