[Comic] Just another summer day - Page 1

Finally! After months of preparation, the first page of my summer comic is here!

Due to recent changes in the lore of my world, the original idea behind this project has been revamped multiple times to offer you more than a simple muscle show.

Muscles are important things in gecko enozars (custom species) genetics as a source of competition, pleasure and sometimes, a way of persuasion. "Just another summer day" presents you a normal day in their everyday life.

But I'm not done with them yet, more cameo panels will come later! 😜

[PowerUP Comic] Falco Lombardi (remake) - Page 1

New version of my comic of Falco Lombardi trying a can of "PowerUP Energy Drink", using my new art style and merging 3 pages in 1 (the same will be done with next pages).

Such comic will be available as "Energy Drink+" next month in the upcoming "PowerUP Comics" category of my commissions.

Today is a very special day for me as it celebrate the 15th year of me being part of the furry community, but also the 15th anniversary of the creation of my main sona: Yash, who evolved over years from a Yoshi fan-character to an unique and custom sub-species of gecko.

✨ 15 YEARS IN THE FURRY FANDOM

In August 12th, it's gonna be exactly 15 years since I joined the furry fandom, with the creation of my main sona: Yash! Thank you all for your support over all these years, let's stay silly! 😜

The silly green gecko is gonna get a small outfit redesign for the occasion, stay tuned!

💰 LOWER PRICES & FIRST COMIC COMMISSIONS

As my new art style requires less time to finish a drawing, it seems normal for me to lower my prices. Commissions and Patreon reward tiers are now cheaper!

💪 LORE UPDATE: MUSCLE GROWTH FOR ENOZARS ONLY

As explained recently in a PowerUP Ambassador post, I want to reserve muscle growth ability to gecko enozars only (Yash and Yetshi species).

But don't worry, it's still possible for others with the help of artifacts and PowerUP products (but not in serious stories). This needs further development and I'll have to update a few things in previous comics.

🗯 DELAY IN COMICS PROJECTS

Talking of comics, the summer story I'm working on is taking longer than expected because of the recent changes in my style but also the amount of details in first page. So be patient, it is coming, but I can't tell when exactly.

Finally, I'll probably gonna redo the whole "PoweredUP" comic of Falco before working on new pages. Why? Because I want it to have the same art style in all pages. Another reason is I want the page layout to fit a PowerUP comic commission I'll open in September (Ambassadors will soon see sketch of it).

Second example for my upcoming comic commissions based on PowerUP products, this time starring Audrey and the energy drink.

This is also the first comic using my new art style and I had a lot of fun drawing it! 😜

New art style practice - Muscle anatomy study

After a few days on experimenting stuff, here is the new art style I'm going to use for future art works! A change that only affects the way I draw characters body.

Statyk was a good example to show you the level of detail to expect in upcoming muscle art, which will be the same for bigger builds, even hyper.

Note that this drawing also uses the new "shaded" render, now focusing on shadow layers only.
Prices will be revamped soon to fit these changes.

July 2024 news

Hello, dear patrons!
A lot of changes are coming soon and I need time to prepare them, but don't worry, you'll still get content this month. Now let's detail everything, shall we?

⭐ REWARDS POSTPONED TO AUGUST

Due to a big change in my works (more details below), July rewards are postponed to next month, meaning that what you'll receive in August will worth twice your current pledge, allowing you to get an additional character (or better render) for free.

💪 MUSCLE STYLE CHANGE

You must know that I'm often jealous of how other artists draw hyper muscles and so I've tried drawing like them, by adding as much details as I can in my muscle works. I got something people enjoy, but in fact, all these extra details make things more complex to me, I'm less productive and lack motivation faster.

Time has come to change this! I've always been a cartoon style artist, let's stick to it! 

By now, muscle art (especially hyper) will get less detailed but should still stay enjoyable (you tell me!). I'm gonna make a lot of sketches during the month to practice this change and share them here, so you'll get an idea of how it's gonna look (if you were familiar to my former "toon style", it should be similar).

🔧 COMMISSIONS PRICES & RENDER REWORK

Less details means less work and should result in lower prices in terms of commissions/rewards. Sketch rewards will be back at their original prices (15€) with more slots but in lower quality (rough lines).

I'm removing the simple shading render and may also remove the monochrome sketch in the near future, which could be replace by an inked render (clean lines only). Wait and see.

🗯 SMALL CHANGE IN COMIC PAGES RELEASES

Starting today, to give me more time to work on other art projects, you'll no longer get a page per week but at least 2 comic pages will be released by month. I say "at least" because you can still have 4 pages per month, it will only depends of my schedules.
