Here’s something we dug up from the archives! An alternate scene from the pilot of LGG. The was one of the first drafts for the “Saloon scene”. It features a longer montage of the saloon patrons and very different dialogue for when Rawhide and Snag enter. Also we were going to use a different version of “A Bible, Candle and Skull” from Legendary Shack Shakers genius JD Wilkes. He informed us this early version was not owned by him and offered us to use a newer version of the song on his solo album. The scene ended up being a bit too long and aimless and the dialogue was all “first pass”. No voices were recorded yet either. Tightening needed to be done in order to keep a steady pace. Zach boarded this version of the scene but the one you see in the pilot was done by Karl and Megan who absolutely made it shine! Its one of our favorite scenes in the whole pilot. Some things we did miss about this version: Snag’s hair flopping down and the Skeleton beatniks. RIP Skeleton beatniks…
