Ok, so I listened to that aunt-grandfather story again and it’s very close to what I experienced. I lived on another continent when my mother died and while she had a serious disease and wasn’t feeling well, I haven’t heard from my brother who lived with her anything about her condition deteriorating. That one night, I was getting ready to sleep (not falling asleep yet, which is important, because otherwise it could have been a dream) and just thinking about random things like “what park are we going tomorrow to?” or “what should I cook for lunch tomorrow” when this stream of down-to-earth thoughts was interrupted by what I now call a vision of my mother. It wasn’t in the room with me or anything like that, it was more like watching a movie in my mind’s eye if that makes sense. I saw my Mom standing in the backyard of my childhood house looking straight at me with a solemn/worried expression on her face. She looked young too - like the young version of herself that I saw in old black and white pictures, not the current version of a 60+ woman. The whole thing last just a moment and then went away. I remember being freaked out by it and trying to justify this weird image popping into my mind. I was next to my months old son’s crib at the time so I that well maybe it’s because I am a mom myself now and I was looking at my son and just by association I thought of my own mother, etc. I am an atheist and not a believer at all, so I was trying to rationalize it and was able to convince myself that’s all it was and fell asleep.

Ok, I’ll need to relisten to this tomorrow because I think I heard Humberto tell a story very similar to the most paranormal story that happened to me. I’ll share mine then.
