If public visibility is the only thing that gets those higher ups off their asses and investigating these cases, you’re definitely doing a great service by using your platform to draw attention to victims like these, Doc. Little by little the people learn that this kind of thing is even possible and we collectively wise up. And that public awareness has a huge influence on scaring the shit out of perpetrators too. So thank you for the dual effect this kind of thing has. It’s sort of a, “Hey, I see you.” not only to the victims, but to their abusers alike.
