This is the big egg from today's video that we decided to dissect in a separate clip. I'm glad we did! Sometimes this happens when breeding snakes- they don't all make it. But our curiosity always gets the best of us when it comes to figuring out *why* a particular egg didn't hatch. I can definitely see why this one didn't!

There are eastern, western, and southern hognoses. I wonder why no northerns? :P
Easterns are typically very picky eaters. So if you're looking to get your first hognose a western is the way to go :)
