I haven't listened to this episode yet but I have a personal experience when I was 15 and going to therapy for exposure therapy for C-PTSD (lots of CSA by two different people, unrelated situations, almost being killed by another family member during a drunken rage, emotional/verbal abuse from a very young age). My therapist who was the head of the paediatric psychology department at the local hospital. She wanted to hypnotise me to force me into the flashback that I was very adamant that I wasn't ready to explore or verbalise yet. I was very vulnerable, sleep deprived from constant nightmares, on high doses of sedating medications to keep me from offing myself. I was borderline mute during this session, and unfortunately, very easily induced into hypnosis without my consent. Not just without asking but she asked and I specifically said no. I asked my mother about this and she never consented to me receiving hypnotherapy either. Instead of gradually easing me into discussing my traumatic memory, like guiding me gently into a cold pool to adjust to the sensation and the overwhelming emotions... she basically kicked me into the deep end. I lost a lot of trust with therapists after that, felt taken advantage of considering I explicitly told her no. I had basically begged her not to to the point of hyperventilating. Once I calmed down and she soothed me into a relaxed state, she then proceeded to count down and lead me into my memories without my control. It was probably one of the hardest, most uncomfortable, scariest things I'd ever done in therapy and I still wonder about the moral and psychological ethics of what this doctor did.

Still continuing, and it’s smart and good to draw attention to this always…how about Covid…think that just may have been a deliberate chemical release worldwide..it’s not a stretch really, considering how shocked we are by are by previous behaviors…
