Female Pedophile Interview

Comments

I've just read YT comments. Oh my god Kirk and Kay please take care of yourself because you really really deserve it. Especially now. You're all so brave in this black and white world.

Emily

This was really hard to hear. Thank you to Kay for opening up, that was very brave and very interesting. It made me think hard about what I'm feeling while listening, and by the end of the episode I managed to understand and imagine what it might be like to be ambushed by feelings you don't want to have, like attraction for a child. The attraction itself I will never understand, and I don't want to. The thought of pedophilia being treated as "normal" scares me to the core, because I fear that might make it more acceptable in society, and sexual child abuse is already so common. My grandfather did it to my aunts, I have two friends who went through it, I have met so many people who were sexually abused as children. Sexual child abuse (not pedophilia per se) to me is torture, which I find worse than murder. The victims have to somehow go on living with that pain, and it never ever goes away.
