My new job’s boss in 2022 was often belittling me about getting worked up about the little things his company/employees do that pollute. I’m sensitive and it led to negativity in the workplace and me leaving. He is a big picture strategist for climate action and goes after the big fish. We remain friends as our families intertwine. I’ve since started to lighten up as it’s my loved ones I wear down. Good point on not hating the gas car neighbours and just vote the right people in. Nice song on the end.

I was first avoiding this episode due to the fact that this topic is so heavy and causing so much hopelessness for me with everything that is already happening. But I have listened to it now and I actually feel very validated, because I fucking feel exactly the same. I am pissed and hurt by the stance of the powerful people towards this self-destruction. Thank you from the deep shadows of my unsettled heart.
