@Maria J. I was also thinking that! They could explore gender as Riley has both male and female emotions, even seemingly after or during puberty. I would love to see a non-binary storyline.

Taryn Bonner

In high school in Florida we have grad night/grad bash where they have universal studios and Disney World open all night for students a week or 2 before graduation.

Brianna Karimi

Okay what if Riley is non-binary and that’s why she had male/female appearing characters whereas the others tend to have one gender appearing character? I hope they do an inside out 3 about starting college. Then I hope they do one where she transitions motherhood… and you get to see Riley’s transition to motherhood and get introduced to her child and their emotions. 😃

I had deleted my twitter account when you know who did you know what. But I want to be able to post socially and I am going to try bluesky.

Humberto Castaneda

Hello all! I have a new Bluesky social account: https://bsky.app/profile/phonuz.bsky.social

Humberto, my husband has the same problem when trying to do math with my daughter. I think it’s because I struggled the same way as she does so I’ve learned some adaptations that work well for her too, while math was always a strong subject for him. Also, it’s generally agreed that there are only 5 emotions, and many paraemotions. I find it interesting that the writers chose the ones they did.

Thanks!

I see Ennui as representing boredom in its normal state and annoyance in its active state. Sarcasm, active disinterest are its strategies, especially in the second state. Thank you very much for talking about this movie!

Great talk, I do think it is fun to have it without the research this time. Also a side note, I appreciate the running joke of Humberto’s job changing every episode, thinking of compiling a list, though I guess some fans did that already.

MHAJ

Humberto’s experience with his daughter was very similar to what we are experiencing with my 14. Fighting over math 😂😂relatable!

Caitlin Ouellette

The cinema therapy guys got to meet the producers: https://youtu.be/h7Zhby0Yh-w?si=srD-I0-ow0Q0YgeP It was interesting hearing their perspective

Femma

So excited to listen to this one. My kids have made me watch this ON REPEAT and it wrecks me every time (as the first one did)-can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

Maria J.

Yes!! I was very much hoping for this to be a podcast episode.

Maria
