I am estranged from my mom and have been for the last two years. However, I have a long term Reddit account and I have a post from 13 years ago asking about how people knew they had to go NC with their parents. I’d love to hear more about this research. This is amazing. I feel I’m on the functional end of things. One thing I did was complete the Grief Recovery Method with my therapist. Grieving that relationship was healthy for me. I’m much healthier being NC with her.
