Akira and Konos cameo was also very much a surpise! Mickey though,truly had me feeling a lot of emotions throughout,seeing him having such a moment was very eye opening to me. 2025-01-31 15:59:53 +0000 UTCthis episode was a goddamn whirlwind, but in a good way! as usual, i have so much commentary (sorry in advance, it’s LONG AF)😅🩵 first, i’m so glad pen is standing her ground. i actually don’t have much to say for her bc she’s making so much progress (even though it’s extremely hard for her). she’s so soft-hearted. *kris jenner voice* you’re doing amazing, sweetie! lars is so FINE…but he’s really making me want to spray him with a bottle like a cat. bc why is he acting like he’s in heat?! boy, you’re down BAD…go stand in the corner and think about what you “almost” did. i almost slid down the wall and cried, but i’m glad it was his imagination. i need to know what they did to him in therapy bc his self control seems strong AF now (bc it was absolutely nowhere to be found in the earlier days😂) i really think he underestimated penelope, she’s not as naive as he thinks anymore and is beginning to get mentally stronger. he also made a lot of progress, he just needs a little more work with his need to control his environment and be possessive in love. ooh iza, you in danger girl!😰 i actually like her but i’m finally starting to identify her flaws (it’s not bad tho) iza is trying to be the logical adult in the relationship, but it’s making her come across as stoic or dismissive. i think she was forced to grow up too fast, which makes her a bit out of touch with everyone else. (LOVED the katseye touch song, i’ve been replaying it for months already!💜) she’s doesn’t seem as empathetic and tries to temporarily pacify issues rather than finding a more permanent solution and directly addressing things head on…which is probably similar to how arron resolves things. speaking of my baby boy, i felt so bad for arron again! (i have such a soft spot for him, im sorry lmao🩷). i’ve noticed arron is just as jealous as lars, but there’s one key difference between them: lars is possessive over who he thinks belongs to him and unconsciously tightens the leash so no one else leaves him, but arron is territorial over who he considers his safe space and isn’t afraid to hurt anyone who threatens that, bc if he does everything right and works hard enough to earn their love and loyalty, he hopes they might do the same and return the favor. either way, they both have to work through their codependency issues and their family trauma directly affects that😭 overall, arron has to work on developing healthier attachment styles and realize that there’s a way to be independent without completely isolating himself. mickey is ironically the most complex character to me and no one is talking about any of this. like, wtf do you mean this man is not only related to prince akira, but ran away from the palace? you’re telling me he might be suicidal AND might have a secret crush on arron?😱(we’ll come back to that in kino’s part😬) we talk about kala self-sabotaging but he’s the worst one at it. he seems to have a LOT going on in his head and we might finally get to see the real reason for that. he needs a way to release the pressure or he’s gonna blow up and it won’t be pretty at all😓 briefly speaking on prince akira, omg he’s so pretty😍but how did i miss the resemblance to mickey? i wonder if that’s his brother or cousin…i’m guessing akira is also more nonconformist and unconventional than i thought. he liked lars’s nail paint! such a cute moment, but he also seemed a bit flirty👀 (is he bi / pan? bc my radar is going off😏) i wonder if his relationship with the palace workers are strictly appropriate or if they tend to his other “needs” as well. he gives off that borderline arrogant, opportunistic vibe (i have to watch his mini series, i didn’t see it yet) he seems interesting so far. i can’t wait to see what the academy is like!🩷 with kala, she’s really on thin ice with me. i really want to like her but she’s so self destructive. it’s almost painful to watch.😖 she blames mina for the decisions she made as well. like girl, you know mina wants you and will make a move on you but you keep allowing it to happen. which is why mina acts the way she does, kala won’t properly correct mina and keeps trying to convince herself that she likes jasmine.🙄 kala knows jasmine’s a good girl, but keeps secretly hurting her. kala might not be the best fit for her, jas needs someone who will appreciate her soft-spoken and lovergirl nature but can also handle her fiery side. (i take back mina getting with kino, i think it should be jas bc she seems to be a mix of mina and kala: soft enough for him to open up and feel comfortable, but with enough spice to excite him and give him something to analyze and work for🙂) i don’t have much to say about mina bc she undid all her progress in the last short. my last sentiments still stands tho, she needs to work on her attention-seeking behaviors and find someone who can love her and not play cat and mouse with her heart. she’s still on thin ice and also making it hard to like her as well😐 also, not kino almost emptying the clip on mickey and saying EXACTLY what we were probably thinking😬 i f*cking called it! mickey might be closeted and that could be a big reason for his mental instability. kino, i didn’t think you had it in you, bro. he stood his ground and remained in control. impressive, but he’s not safe either. he keeps surrounding himself with poor influences as friends. he needs a better support group for someone as cerebral and intellectual as him. also, he needs better taste in women (*cough* JASMINE *cough*) i saved my new favorite dynamic for last bc ROME AND TRINAAAA!💖 those two had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. like that was the perfect balance of push and pull. and the KISS?! i almost screamed in the office, i was so happy for this slow burn dynamic with them. i can’t wait to see what she does to him (and vice versa) speaking of that, rome seems to switch into a different persona when he gets flirty!😏 i was like where did that smooth talking even come from sir? i hope whatever they decide to do works out in their best interest bc there’s enough drama for everyone else (i feel like if they ever have drama or disagreements, it would be when everyone else is good and resolved their issues so their problems would end up standing out🥲😅) kureha, your mind is full of wonderful surprises! i love how this story played out and i can’t wait to see how it ends. amazing job as always💖🎊

My boy KINO WAS YEARNING 😩😩 the TESTOSTERONE WAS THRU THE FAWKING ROOF . I wanted them to jump Mickey so bad. My baby Rome said GET ACTIVE OR GTFO 🤭🤭🤭 bc period ! Okay so boom… NEXT MORNING. Sato & Rome’s little interaction by the weights??!!! 🤭🤭🤭🤭 giving very much big brother, little brother. When Rome was like “Talk too much” I was like NOOOOOOO MY BABY 😭😭😭 TALK MORE!! (Open your mouth😏) ALRIGHTTTTTTT NEXT!!!!!! Akira?!!!!! AKIRA! That’s all ima say. The whole amusement park sequence had me showing all 32 teeth.
