TALK - Scheduling and Stuff #39 (I checked)

April. I've been focused a bit much on rendering. The Animator Matter has run it's course, for now. Today is the second Tuesday of the month and for the last four second Tuesdays that meant a new Little Witch Caption. But, not today. Today begins the serial comic Statue Rentals. Details of what it's about are in the first posted page. Little Witch #5 - Gym Shorts will release next Tuesday.

I plan to release three serial comics each month. In a two month span, there will be three Little Witch comics and three Statue Rental comics. The 2nd and 4th Tuesday of this month and the 3rd Tuesday of next month will see the first three Statue Rental comics. Little Witch comics will have the same release schedule but in opposite months. Thus, one Little Witch comics this month on the 3rd Tuesday and two Little Witch comics next month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays.

Renders and Assembly for both comics are completed and queued up into December. It's funny. I did most of the Statue Rentals renders in February but due to other releases in front of it, scheduled it for an April debut. While getting ahead with Little Witch in mid-March, I've finally standardized my logos and stuff. I had to go back and re-assemble the twelve Statue Rentals comics I'd considered finished a month earlier. (Thankfully, I'd only queued four comics. I didn't have to do too much reuploading here.)

The depth of both queues is one of the reasons for speeding up the schedule of Little Witch. There's even a crossover in November. (Somewhere I joked about not wanting to create a story universe. Well... here it is.)

About now, I suppose folks might be curious about the 1st and occasional 5th Tuesdays of the month. Yeah. I wonder about them two. I've been putting out short short stories on Tuesdays for a while now. So they will fill those slots when they exist. When a Saturday story has renders, teasers could run on Tuesday. And the first of the month lands on a couple Tuesdays. And first of the month is still the Renders Roundups days for now.

I still haven't decided how I'm going to post these to deviantArt. Little Witch will continue over there. But I might only tease the first eight or so comics of Statue Rentals. I haven't decided.

OTOH, my writing queue ends in mid-May. I have a bunch of things 80-90% finished and just haven't concentrated on any one of them long enough to get them to the finish line. I'll probably finish queuing the comics and then focus on writing. That's how I ended up finishing Season 4 of Ted's Dolls. Which reminds me, I need to get around to plotting out Season 5. So much to do, never enough time.

Final note: It is March 23 as I write this. Yes, I even queue these status updates.

Update (April 5): Since that final note, there are six more Little Witch comics ready. And only one more Statue Rentals comics ready. (It has a lot of renders due to a montage sequence.) The written stories queue does extend into June now. I'm hoping to push that to a depth of 5-6 months and then, perhaps, tackle a small scale AVN with no ASFR content.
