This week we have a double friendship. I say that because there's 2 parts I play through this verse, one through the first half, and the other through the second.
Part I consists of a few palm muted power chords that follow the chord progression: C#min - Bmaj - F#/A# - A - B. The neat thing is that the third chord has this "stretched power chord" thing going on. A power chord is usually 2 frets wide, but this one is 3. You can get some really great ideas and riffs going when you expand your power chord vocab to include these.
Part II is a single note idea that hops up 1 octave higher. The right hand is quite repetitive and picks strings 1,2,3 over and over again.
This one isn't too difficult, I think most players will be able to take a shot at this one regardless of skill level.
