ICQ - Chorus

It is absolutely bonkers that we haven't gone over ICQ yet, so I'm today going to fix this!

This is a funky rhythm section. It's all about getting the strumming and the muting right. Broadly speaking, I'm just playing common triad shapes on the top 3 strings while letting the right hand go ham.

When learning these shapes it's important to let your right hand strum more freely and not just be limited to the top 3 strings. In order to do this, take any unused fingers in the chords (mostly your 3rd and 4th finger), and block the bottom 3 strings with them. Then you can strum as wide and as energetically as possible, and the lower strings won't produce any ugliness when you hit them.

ATTN: any theory-heads out there. The chords are like this:

Am11 Fmaj7 Dmin7 Fmaj Gmaj

One thing to note is that I've decided to play the triads above some of the chords. For example, Fmaj7, consists of F A C E. Instead of playing the whole thing, I just play A C and E, since the bass has the F note covered already. So it may look like I'm playing an A minor triad, but in reality it's part of this bigger 7th chord.
