Wherever, Whenever, Forever (B Section)

Here's part 2 of this tune which we began a few weeks ago. Go listen to PHOBOS IV if you haven't already heard this mystical tune!

The right hand pattern is outlined in the previous lesson on this song. I play though the part at 0:00, and isolate the left hand chords at 0:28.

As mentioned in the previous lesson, the soft acoustic tones bring out a gentler more silent nature within me, so there is no speaking in this video (and maybe the audio setup is a little janky when playing acoustic).

As per tradition, this section is rated 'intermediate' in difficulty.

TAB is attached. Drop and questions or comments down below!

It is, because you have to experiment with microphone placement (where on the guitar it is pointing, and the distance away) to get the best balance and tone. You also need to choose a pleasing sounding space, since the mic will also pick up the reflections and reverberation of the room you're in. Typically I try to minimize reflections and echo, so I will make a tent from a duvet and record inside of there. So yeah, compared to an electric that you can plug straight into an interface, acoustic can be a little bit tricky!

Absolutely lovely :) How do you go about recording acoustic for an album? Is it more involved than electric?
