Added 2024-04-16 18:52:38 +0000 UTCSome sketches I managed to squeak out between work! First is a redraw of the cover for The Sprite and the Gardener (not sure I'll finish it though), followed by a handful of weirder throwbacks.
Since I've been working on our new graphic novel more I've been thinking about how my first big foray into "professional" comics was my run as the artist for the Steven Universe comics from Boom Studios. I didn't have a ton of artistic freedom back then, but the designs are kind of burned into my memory from drawing them so many times, so I wanted to try drawing them a little more loosely.
