Thank you for being a Patron (and a friend)!

I want to take a moment to offer you my sincere thanks for supporting Crushing Krisis in this Patreon campaign.

Your support, both in dollars and in spirit, is pushing me to do things on CK that weren't even on my radar before November!

Thanks to your support:

Wow.

Our pledge total might not look that high right now, but make no mistake: You. Changed. My. Life. In three months of your support you've helped me transform CK's key performance indicators more than I had done in the prior six months on my own.

Thank you. Thank you for being a Patron. Thank you for being a friend. This is just the start of transforming CK into something with a wider scope and more sustainable longterm content, and I'm only able to do it because I have your support.

Next up for CK? More DC guides (including a lot more Batman), a big update for the Marvel guides, regular solicits and weekly releases posts, and hopefully (finally) a mobile-friendly redesign.

Excelsior!

Thank you for being a Patron (and a friend)!

The Thor guide was perfect, I just hadn't seen it on the site!!! And I'm excited for Green Lantern- I read a couple of trades from the war of light that were amazing, and can't wait to see more! And a comprehensive marvel now reading order would be spectacular :)

The Thor Guide is here: http://crushingkrisis.com/collecting-avengers-comic-books-as-graphic-novels-a-definitive-guide/collecting-thor-comic-books-as-graphic-novels/(Or, did you mean you want one of my crazy "all guest appearances, ever" guides for Thor? I wasn’t creating them in that style when I did the original big solo Avengers gudies) DC Events is about halfway done and proving slightly tricky at points, but it’s coming in the next month or two. Green Lantern will certainly arrive at some point this year, although it’s probably the most intimidating of the Justice League heroes after Batman and Superman. The Bendis Era Reading Order threads all of the main Avengers titles from 2005-2012 ( http://www.crushingkrisis.com/?p=8680 ), but it sounds like you’d looking for something EVEN MORE comprehensive, like a Marvel Trade Reading Order. I’ve shied away from that, because at a point some of the choices become subjective AND other sites do it better. However, I’ve long considered a comprehensive Marvel Now reading order, and if Patrons show interest in that it could be a goal. Offline lists are an interesting topic, and something I’d definitely consider for Patrons! I’ll need to ask everyone what they think about that.

I personally would love to see a Thor guide, as well as a DC Events and green lantern guide! I LOVE that you put HOW to read each comic (whether there are TPB's, omnibus', or other collections) and the links to Amazon are super helpful too! As for existing content, it'd be incredibly helpful (though also incredibly time consuming I'd imagine) to see a "master" trade reading order- for example, I can see what order to read secret avengers, avengers, avengers world, and new avengers, and how they each relate to major events (like siege)- but I don't know the order to read them in between major events, relating to each other. So keeping the breakdown for each group, while also putting ALL of them into one master order would be incredible, but also, id imagine, crazy time consuming. I also recognize that not everyone will go as crazy As I did, like trying to catch up on 10 years of comics all at once :) As for the site itself, I love that there's no pop ups, none of the ads cover anything I'm trying to read, and the site works well on mobile- I honestly have no comments for the site aside from nice work! An app would be the only advancement I could think of for delivery, and if it was well done, would be worth paying a few bucks for (additional monetization for you wouldn't hurt!), especially for off-line lists (like for those on iPods without wifi going comic shopping in a bookstore- admittedly specific, but I'd say offline is more helpful than most think! I have a bit of a unique perspective as I work in the phone industry :) ) Keep up the good work man, you're killing it!
