Welcome back! Today it's more Demon Slayer with Episode 24! Last time we saw everyone was safe and recovering. Plus the Corps' Hashira gathered, and we hope to see them learn more about the history and hopefully some new techniques. Let's hop in.
Today we are learning more about the techniques and why the Hashira are who they are. We do take a break from the action but enjoy the backstory this episode. But the action will be back before we know it because there is only 2 episodes left of Season 1.

Also I mentioned Tanshiro and Zenitsus Trainers/Masters. But you also gotta remember that they are quite special cases. Both were trained by former Hashiras (As already mentioned in former episodes). This is not the norm. It is a privilige to be trained by a former Hashira.

2025-08-29 17:56:53 +0000 UTCThis was mentioned last episode but I think you missed it. But Kanao (The young girl with the butterfly pin) is a Tsuguko. You know how Tanshiro was trained by Urokodaki und Zenitsu was trained by his Master? That's how it normally goes. They have/had a Master who trained them to become a Demon Slayer. A Tsugoko however is a demon slayer who gets trained by a current Hashira with the intention of becoming their succesor (or a very high potential of becoming a Tsugoku themselves). It is a very prestigious Title und you gotta be real strong for that. As of now Kanao is the only existing Tsugoku. Other Hashiras had Tsugokus as well but they have passed or they trained demon slayers but those demon slayers were not strong enough to be given the Tsugoku title. Just wanted to let you know so that you can understand how strong she is.

2025-08-29 17:54:52 +0000 UTCSo there's 12 kizuki. There's upper 6 and lower 6. They never explain this fully in the anime from what I remember at least not directly but the uppers are stronger than the lowers. So even the last place of the uppers like upper 6 for example, in theory, is stronger than the one ranked as lower 1. If that makes sense. And there's always 12 so if one is taken out they get replaced. Because of course Muzan doesn't actually care about any of them. So don't get confused if you meet an upper or lower # and then they get taken out and see a different demon with the same rank later on. I've seen other reactors get confused by that and I don't think it ever gets explained specifically. Most reactors think they must be mistaken so I didn't want you guys thinking you're confused or getting it wrong. With the Hashira, there might be rank in terms of strength and who is more powerful but it's not as "official" as it is like with the kizuki. There is also a leader with the Hashira but again its not so strict. They're obviously the good guys so they're meant to be seen more as a team and as a family in a way.
