Tricked & Treated Part 4

Maisie snorted, stifling a laugh that nearly echoed throughout the stranger's entire home - even she realized it sounded like the pair were getting too comfortable. So consumed were they by their banter, the duo didn't notice the padding of Lia's bare feet as the older woman returned to stand before them - seemingly empty handed.

The college students ceased their conversation, as the two of them looked the woman up and down. Lia didn't speak, just wearing a strange smirk. It was Maisie who broke the silence. "Uh, the snacks? The drinks?" She said expectedly. "Did you forget or something?"

Sophie followed up. "Whats with the stick?" The blonde said, gesturing to the object in Lia's hand.

The dark haired woman spoke at last, expressions of confusion on the young womens' faces. "I didn't forget, and its a wand, sweetie."

Maisie cast a sidelong glance at her friend, trying and failing not to laugh at that. While Sophie wore a similar mocking but mildly offended expression. "'Sweetie'?" The word like a bad taste on her mouth. "Listen, do you have what we want or what? Otherwise we'll be leaving."

Lia narrowed her gaze. "I wouldn't say I've got what you want, but I've got exactly what you need."

Maisie laughed out loud at that, while Sophie looked irritated that their time had been wasted.

The older woman continued. "Now, like I said, those outfits are terribly offensive. So, lets get you out of them. Starting with..."

Sophie looked at Maisie, who shook her head in confusion. They were about to stand when suddenly Lia flicked the wand in her hand, and a light bloomed to life at its tip. That stilled the young duo, they couldn't see any obvious electronics or lights at the end of whatever it was this strange woman was holding.

Lia's eyes darted between the two before landing on the towering Sophie. "You."

Sophie was about to speak when suddenly an arcing light arced across the room, striking the young blonde weightlessly. The pair shrieked at the display, the shining light causing them to look away.
