Proving Her Wrong

After a truly tumultuous time trying to adopt, Jenna felt a great deal of joy in barring Eve from adoption. The woman worked full-time, was single, and her professional prospects - by Jenna's reckoning - lacked promise.
Of course, Eve felt hugely confident in her ability to raise a child, and had become so optimistic that she had purchased all kinds of items in anticipation of having a new member of her household.
So, when Jenna arrived at Eve's home to deny her application, the dark haired woman was enraged. She decided to prove to Jenna that she was perfectly capable of taking care of a little one - and told the adoption agent that she'd do so personally.
In a flash, she turned her most recent experimental size reduction device on Jenna and shortly after the agent found doorknobs out of reach! Eve told Jenna that all she needed to do was behave, and she'd prove that she was a perfectly capable mother, and after Jenna was convinced, she'd turn her back.
Of course, Eve didn't care to admit she was starting to enjoy having Jenna as the new member of her household...
