Lenchi:
All hands on deck!
We wanted to bring in some grabby hands that can be added all over Zoey. This way, whenever someone in the team is writing a lewd scene, they can match what is going on in the game’s overworld.
The following images show my progression from sketch to shading. I’m excited to see them animated!

JustNox:
I've made pictures for each major area of the Redlight District map, presented by LenChi. The idea is that colors reflect deeper and darker themes, as the player processes from entrance to the center of the area. There's also a slums area, where secret labs are situated. The idea is that it feels at some distance from most of the area, but still feels kinda dark and cold.There are also slight variations for some of them - mainly for values/slightly altered color scheme.

I turned 100+ walls into 22. Desva has been crunching down on wall as well as other object

Aine Lovia:
We found some issues with expressions for chibis. Some of them didn’t quite match the facial proportions we were going for. Besides that, our previous attempt had the skin-color of the lips baked into the expression pieces. This meant that we had to have every expression 3 times for each of our skin colors. This is now fixed and we can re-use all chibi expressions on all chibis!

Zanzo:
I was busy finalizing the trailer for 0.2 so that we were able to make an official announcement for its release and hopefully further expand our amazing audience. After that I’m mostly back at rebuilding the UI from the ground up to clean up and unify everything we have, using TCNN’s UI style.

I have also taken the time to change the setup of Max's hair changing colors to be less dependent on technical context and external scripts within the scenes, which led to it not playing correctly a lot of the time. While at it, I upgraded it to change color in a descending gradient like a rainbow waterfall instead of just cycling through the colors as a whole. Please ignore Zoey's head changing color as well :D

Juno:
Redlight District Architecture Design

This piece was meant to bring LenChi, Nox’ and my concept work together while showing the distinction between the more happy, bright, colorful “normal” path of the district and the more shady, dark and dangerous alleys.
We were going for larger windows to be able to show more action inside them and going with the theme of exposure.

These are experiments of how we could expand on our existing building set and how the windows could look, done alongside the first piece above.
Vils:
Hallo everybooty. Vils here. I’ve been fixing an ungodly amount of bugs leading up to a 0.2.1 patch. Thank you for all the feedback and bug reports. I’ve also given the slutbox sequence a bit more love, now with a restart button and faster retries.

While I was doing this, I wanted to get a sub 1 minute time, and ended up hittin’ it while streaming bugfixes.
Now I’ve put together a leaderboard on the Discord server with other people’s times, so if you want your time displayed, just send a screenshot in #nn-discussion and get in on the fun. Maybe there’ll be some sorta reward for whoever can beat my time…? (Not head [unless?])

Now we’re starting to look forward to 0.3, where you’ll be exploring the Redlight District and making a return to the Glowing Hole. We’ve latched onto the idea of the Redlight District being a lewd carnival of sorts, so it’ll be a fun sexual wonderland that we’re looking forward to you all exploring.
Bear:
Heya gamers! I’ve been working on fixing bugs and polishing the content we have for the 0.2 release. I’ve done a heck of a lot of work on optimizing 0.2 for Android especially. This resulted in 3 new settings that toggle very demanding visual elements, especially those that blur things. They are now off by default on android and on by default on windows. This seems to have worked well and reports about performance issues have gone down a LOT since those changes have rolled out in the $5 0.2 release.
Next up I’m working on content for 0.3. For that, I’ve started writing a little prototype story beat for Zoey re-entering the glowing hole and interacting with Klaudia. Everything about this interaction is subject to change.
