Beary cool personal update

Heya!

Little personal update from me (bear)!

Sadly, right after coming back from the amazing holidays, my SO had to undergo multiple visits to the doctor and hospital. Luckily the operation went well and she was able to leave today! This meant that I was at the hospital for the most part of the past weeks since I came back.

I was able to add the finishing scene to the Streetwhore route. There is one more cg that is kind of a bonus thing and doesn't quite tie into the story anymore, but I'm currently trying to figure out how to duct-tape it in somewhere. xD 

The final scene that I finished is pretty cool imo. It's got lots of sounds made just for that scene. Animating it was a lot of work too. But I'm very happy with how it came out. c:

Also, the lady from the porn route has such a cool dialogue sprite now. Seriously love her look, Rated did outstanding work on her! I decided to call the Porn lady "Evelyn". The name was a recommendation from the discord, thanks so much for all the ideas!

Besides these things, the update is sadly looking quite small again :( I feel pretty bad about that tbh. Kinda feels like we're not giving back enough for the support yall are currently giving us. There's so much in the works. TC content, RaR content, Project-Next content... I'm super looking forward to the RaR release. All the work from Alexey, Thao, Vils and Alberto deserves to finally see the light of day beyond being showed off in weekly update posts. I hope Vils is making good progress in the implementation of it all into Unity, actually making it a playable game. Maybe instead of hiring more people creating content, we should look into someone to help us with implementation to actually get content into your hands faster? I think I might be making the mistake of "I can do that myself". Like, I can pretty much implement literally anything into unity, I just can't make the art myself. Handing off work you could do a good job at yourself to someone else is spooky...

We'll have to pay corporate tax for the first time ever, since we incorporated. It's quite a lot of money :o. But I guess taxes always feel like they're a lot to everyone? If my calculations are correct, we should get a sweet amount back, because we're paying more than we should (it's based on estimations since we're in our first year). Buuuut I guess it's better to pay some more initially and get some back, than to pay too little and unexpectedly needing to pay up at some random point in the future.

I've applied to join a small local non-profit organization for young people, but they have an age limit which I'm gonna be over in a few weeks. That hit me kinda hard, lol. Made me feel seriously old. :( I guess that's normal? Maybe it's better that way, since I don't have much time anyways.

Completely unrelated, we've commissioned music for the first time! We'll have at least one completely original track for Rosas are Red! Pretty excited about that! We're aiming to have something in between DokiDoki's main Theme and Future Funk (Snail's House / Ujico*). Commissioning music costs a lot less than I thought it would. Not sure if that's a smart thing to say (if you make music for us please don't raise the price xD) ♥

 I think that's pretty much it for now. I'm kinda thinking about making update posts into a video format. Would yall be into that? I'm getting a fancy microphone soonTM so I can record voice over. I have no idea how much work the cutting would be though. We'll see, I guess.

Lastly, thank you all so, so, so much. While I was sitting at the hospital, I was thinking of how god damn lucky I am that I can just take care of my SO like this without worrying a boss throwing me out. I hope we do enough to earn your support.
