VAPOREON PIN UPDATE
Added 2023-11-11 21:07:26 +0000 UTCHi friends! Sorry it's been quiet on my part. It's mostly cause I think pin production is slower than usual? I'm assuming cause of the holidays/season. But that's totally ok imo. My manus need a break as well from life.
I'm still cracking it at retail these days & doing cons when I can :' ) it's been draining me more than I'd like but I'm trying, honestly.
But I finally have some updates on the Vaporeon pins! A slight goof up, but not big enough to completely bend me out of shape haha.
I'm not too sure if it's a deal breaker for you guys, cause these have been in production for what feels like a while. But more or less, the screenprint on the eyes turned out a lot more opaque(?) than they should've so it kinda bled into the darker fill in for the base eye color. The result is that what was supposed to a light purple turned into a more dark magenta.
Below is my original mock up sheet for the pin! I broke down what colors I picked & where they go. I'm still kinda a beginner with pins, so I'm very much learning as I go. Every now & then, I'm humbled on my design choices lol but it's not the worst thing that could happen!
The good thing is that if it bothered me THAT bad, it's a fixable issue. It's just an extra $20 with an extra 5ish days of production, but I'm just eager to get these. I might just leave them as is? I hope that that's not a bad thing : ( if I get these reprinted, I'll know exactly what to do.
I apologize for the radio silence & I hope this was worth the wait! The Pinkie Pie pin is still in production as we speak since that one's a bit more complicated, but we're making progress babie!
