Hey patrons, I hope all of you have a nice weekend. I hope some of you are doing well in the semester. It's been a few days since I published the Ivy Project and I want to say that I'm happy with how it received: from Twitter, Newgrounds, to rule34. Yeah, I'm grateful for that.
A couple of weeks before the public release, I sent Alexia the full video. She said that there are inconsistencies with the spoken dialogue and has offered me to redo the voice. I would've accepted it until I realized that the audio files from AD and Oolay were mixed with her voice and the ambient sounds. That means there's no way to edit the audio without consulting AD and Oolay to redo it. Alexia acknowledged and was happy to revisit the project again in the future.
I love to revisit the project again in the future, but it's way too early. I'll save it for a rainy day. For now, the current version will stay where it is.
In other news, I'm starting to set up an archive for my old sfm files: the models, materials, etc. I'm really done with source filmmaker. I barely touch the software throughout the last couple of months. It's painful to set up one scene and the lights. The Lights! You don't want to know how long it would take to set the lights. With my frustrations out of my way, it's time to save whatever I have for potential artists in the future. It'll be handpicked. There's no guarantee that every single file on my sfm folder will be saved. I will announce it once I got the archive set up.
Also, I will start editing my Patreon page soon to better reflect the situation I'm in. It's been a long time since I made changes to that page.
That's all for the update. Before I go, I want to let you know that it will be three years since the downfall of Tumblr in the next few days. I want to remind everyone whatever happens to not only me but a list of artists you know, will happen. So save as much content as you can.
Anyways, chau chau.
