PWG Shutting down in the upcoming year.

Hello everyone. I'm afraid we have some bad news.

The Printed Wargames website is in the process of being shut down. Patreon fulfillment through PWG is still available, and I will let you know if that changes. We are going to try and keep the download side open as long as possible. We are trying for at least the next six months. Please make sure to download any files you have purchased from them, if you have not done so already. We are moving the sales of individual items to My Mini Factory. We will be moving our monthly Patreon fulfillment to there as well. If you have any questions, feel free to contact PWG admin at admin@printedwargames.com or get updates on the Printed Wargames Discord server.

The simple truth of it is just that sales have fallen off a cliff this year, and PWG can no longer afford the cost of maintaining the website.

FAQ:

1.) Downloads form PWG will be available for several months. We intend to keep the download engine and patreon fulfillment open for at least 6 months.

2.) We are moving to MMF. Previous months fulfillment should be able to be ported over there from the patron list.

3.) I am unsure if purchases from PWG will be able to be moved over. I would focus on downloading them first (My Account / Orders)

4. There is no rush to download. We are telling you as early as possible to give you enough time to get your files.

I will update this as questions come in.

Comments

As we upload files to MMF we will be using the patreon mailing system to send out invites to those who had subscribed during that month. You will have to click the redeem links we send to add them to your MMF library, with one link per month.

Hi guys, will we need to port the previous year's of files over to MMF ourselves or will this be automatic, and can you put a guide up on how it is done please? I have a lot of files on there as I did not download vary many compared to how much is there. 😬

Guy Grundell

Last month, I finished downloading over 3 years' worth of files. It was insane, but something told me to have the files readily available offline. I appreciate the notice.
