Regarding the continuation of 'New Era of Gaming'

Option 1: Alain is permanently trapped in the game world, and that becomes his new reality.
Option 2: Alain gets stuck in the game due to a glitch, but eventually returns to the real world, only to realize the game has started affecting his brain and blurring the line between game and reality.
