Helios Concept Sketch
Added 2024-04-26 07:26:06 +0000 UTCSorry for the long absence everyone! I had a family trip, and a few flurries of work and social engagements, but I can assure you most of the gap was just me telling myself "I need to post this week" then said thought vacating my mind >_>
So here's the Helios, designed by Alan Blackwell.
I consider this a very funky mech, and wasn't aware that it had much of a following, but since being teased I see it has a lot of fans.
I think the reduction of the "wall of bricks" look of old into something a little more sleek has done wonders for it. My favorites in this pack are still the Argus and Emperor, but the Helios is no slouch, making it one of the better Star League packs for this year IMO.
I'll do my best the drop a lot of posts for the remainder of the month to catch up!

Seeing nothing but this sketch, I wouldn't be a fan, but somehow, going from this, to the actual render you posted, wow. It looks absolutely amazing. This is a badly underrated mech. I absolutely LOVE the Helios HEL-C as a C3 bodyguard.
