Blood Reaper Concept Sketch

With all of our work the last few years on redesigns, when it comes time to make a book like Legends or Legends II we've got a lot of mechs already done for the pilots, especially on the IS side. Dark Age era Clan mechs is an area that demands a bit more as many of the primary clans made big changes in their mech rosters. So, a lot of the mechs we worked on for this book were of Clan design.
The Blood Reaper was one of the more odd ones, but not unwelcome. While it had some armor shape language that needed updating, the overall concept was a good basis. We also worked in some Nova inspiration on the torso.

2024-01-22 13:46:12 +0000 UTCI think I prefer the more blunt nose of the original, and the angled forearms containg both weapons, and the originals's toes coming further forward but otherwise really like the redesign here
